Stone-carved railings are stone protective components installed around platforms, on both sides of Bridges, on both sides of stairs, on both sides of columns, and around pavilions and terraces in traditional Chinese architecture. They serve both spatial division and decorative functions, and are particularly indispensable in garden architecture. Stone-carved railings can be made from various types of stones and materials, including line-carved railings, relief railings, geometric railings, and three-dimensional sculpture railings. Common stone-carved railings include bluestone, granite and white marble railings.
