As a national intangible cultural heritage, Hui 'an stone carving is not only a pillar industry for the local economic development but also carries the profound weight of a thousand years of craftsmanship and cultural inheritance. However, in the course of industrial development, legal predicaments such as frequent contract disputes, disorderly market competition, weak intellectual property protection, and increasing pressure for environmental compliance have become increasingly prominent, becoming key "bottlenecks" that restrict its transformation and upgrading as well as its move towards high-quality development. To proactively serve the legal demands of the stone carving industry and enhance the level of a law-based business environment for stone carving enterprises, a symposium focusing on "Legal Protection, Safeguarding Craftsmanship - Facilitating the Transformation and Upgrading of Hui 'an's Stone Carving Industry" was held at the Hui 'an County Carving Art Cultural and Creative Park. This seminar was led by the People's Procuratorate of Hui 'an County, jointly organized by the People's Court of Hui 'an County and the Hui 'an County Urban Credit Union. It invited the participation of functional departments such as the County Public Security Bureau, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the Ecological Environment Bureau, and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, as well as the Hui 'an County Stone Carving and Stone Materials Association and representative enterprises. The aim was to pool judicial and administrative forces to diagnose and solve development problems for the stone carving industry. With the joint efforts of multiple parties, a community of "legal protection" is being built Representatives from public security, procuratorial and judicial organs, administrative law enforcement departments, industry associations and enterprises gathered together to break down departmental barriers and jointly explore cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms.
